WGLT is public radio and a public service of Illinois State University in Normal, IL, United States. On the WGLT Blues Radio you can hear new stuff every weekend like Tedeschi-Trucks Band, Joe Bonamassa, Gary Clark Jr., Beth Hart and of course you'll hear classics from legends including John Buddy Guy, Lee Hooker, Etta James , B.B. King and Koko Taylor. You can also learn about up-and-coming artists and hear first-hand stories.
WGLT public radio is an NPR member station licensed to Illinois State and has been a part of the School of Communication since 1997.
The station has been honored with scores of regional and national awards for excellence by The Associated Press, Kaleidoscope, Public Radio News Directors, Inc. and the prestigious Edward R. Murrow awards from the Radio Television Digital News Association.
